At what point did you decide this was just your body now?
* The neck that's always tight.
* The back that never completely relaxes.
* The headaches you've learned to work through.
* Waking up stiff.
* Being exhausted after sleeping.
* Knowing exactly which position will make something hurt.
* Automatically rubbing that same spot while you're sitting at your desk.
Saying, “I'm just getting older.”
Maybe you've tried a lot of things. - Some helped. - Some didn't.
Some felt great for a few days.
And then you found yourself right back where you started.
So eventually, you adjusted.
* Different pillow.
* Different chair.
* Different sleeping position.
* Stopped doing certain things.
* Started planning around how your body might feel that day.
And without realizing it, you became really good at accommodating something you never wanted in the first place.
Read that again.
You may not have accepted the discomfort.
You may have simply reorganized your life around it.
Those are not the same thing.
So instead of asking you where it hurts, I'm curious about something else:
What has the way your body feels stopped you from doing that you genuinely miss?
