I am really excited to be offering this course this winter at Crow Hop Farm! Have your horse-crazy child come join us in our heated indoor classroom/tackroom space and our barn space to learn horse management and care, meet other kids, and have fun this winter! This is a perfect supplement to a regular riding lesson program or an alternative for equine education in the winter months.

Throughout the program, students will:

•Work through a Horse Management Workbook
•Follow the Rainbow Level progression checklist
•Build practical horse-care and safety skills
•Participate in hands-on activities and guided barn learning
•Develop confidence and leadership skills around horses

Students who successfully complete the Rainbow Level requirements will receive a Certificate of Proficiency & Completion and be ready to progress to the next horse-management level and course to be offered summer and winter: Red Level!

All sessions are planned and taught by an experienced youth riding instructor, former United States Pony Club C graduate, certified equine-assisted learning instructor, and current schoolteacher with degree work in nature/outdoor-based education and experiential learning. I have some really great helpers who will be assisting as well.

Had a great morning bringing Aubrey and Teddy to ride in their lesson at the Horse & Rider Biomechanics Clinic with Kendra Clarke in Ripley!!! Grateful for the scholarship opportunity so that Aubrey could ride and learn ❤️ Lots of good homework to work on with both her ponies!
