Tonight gave us victories to celebrate and lessons to learn.
That’s the reality of competition. Sometimes your hand gets raised. Sometimes it doesn’t. But every time you step into the cage, you come out with experience that can’t be taught any other way.
We’re incredibly proud of all three of our fighters for representing Knuckle Up with courage, discipline, and heart. It takes a special person to put months of work on the line under the bright lights.
A huge thank you to our coaching staff, teammates, and everyone who helped prepare these athletes. The countless hours behind the scenes are what make nights like this possible.
If you’re looking at this photo, know this: you’re not seeing a group that’s defined by wins or losses. You’re seeing a team that’s committed to showing up, improving, and chasing excellence together.
We’ll celebrate the wins, learn from the losses, and be back in the gym on Monday—better than we were yesterday. That’s what Knuckle Up is all about. 👊

Savannah has been putting in the work, and it shows. 👏
One of the things that stands out most is how technical her game has become. She doesn’t rely on strength—she relies on good fundamentals, smart decisions, and consistent training.
Proud of your progress, Savannah. Keep leveling up! 🥋💪

Wrote this one for the newer folks who've been quietly grinding through the tough weeks. 🥊 Nobody walks in here already knowing how to move. That's not the point. The point is you showed up again. If you've been hard on yourself lately... maybe this one's for you. What's one thing that kept you coming back? Drop it below. ⬇️

Starting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu feels overwhelming at first. That is completely normal, and it does not mean you are behind. Here is what actually helps in those early weeks. Tap early and tap often.
There is no shame in it. Tapping is how you stay safe and keep training. The goal in week one is not to win. It is to learn.
Focus on one position at a time. You do not need to understand everything on day one. Pick one thing the coach showed and try to find it during rolling. Ask questions after class.
Coaches at Knuckle Up Academy expect beginners to have them. A quick question after the session is worth more than guessing through the next three classes. Show up twice in the first week if you can.
The second class always feels less foreign than the first. The mat rewards consistency more than natural ability. Give yourself the time to find out what that feels like.

Big shoutout to Quinton for completing the 6 Week Training Camp at Knuckle Up 👊
Over the last 6 weeks he’s been building real skills, improving his fitness, and learning how to apply everything during live training sessions.
That’s what it’s all about — not just working hard, but developing confidence through real training and consistent reps on the mats. Proud of the work he’s put in. Let’s keep leveling up 🔥
