Douglasville School of Dance Established in 1975, we offer quality dance instruction in a Christian, nurturing, and non-competitive environment.

Join us for tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, and more! We take pride in offering a quality dance program in a Christian, loving and nurturing atmosphere. Our programs instill the values of goal setting, perseverance, and a positive self-esteem along with the fun and enjoyment of dancing. Our goal is to give each dancer the opportunity to develop her own love of dance in a safe and non-competitive environment. DSD specializes in the training of proper technique and a wide variety of dance styles, including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. Classes are available for students ages 3 to 18.

Dance is something they get to do. It’s not who they are.

Their worth isn’t measured by how high they can kick, how many turns they can do, how flexible they are, or how they perform on recital day.

We want our dancers to work hard, learn, grow, and be proud of what they accomplish. But we also want them to know that a missed step doesn’t make them less worthy, and a perfect performance doesn’t make them more worthy.

Their value was never something they had to earn.

They are already loved. Already known. Already created with purpose by their Creator. ❤️

And that’s something we hope they carry with them far beyond the dance studio.
