Ochs Racing

Ochs Racing Ochs Racing is a Sprint Car race team from Jetmore, Kansas. It was started in 1980 by Charlie Ochs who was a farmer in southwest Kansas.

It has continued through the years by his four sons Mike, Jim, Dave, and Tom Ochs. The boys and crew members put together 360 and 410 sprint cars that race mainly in Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, and Iowa. in 2015 Ochs Racing expanded into the 305 division.

2026 Knoxville Nationals Night #2 Qualifying

So close !!
Timed 25th
Heat- P4 to P2
Locked into the preliminary A Main out of P12.
Car was absolutely amazing and by lap 12 we were in P7. Unfortunately with so many red & yellow race stoppages our right rear tyre sealed over and suddenly we were racing on a skating rink. Managed to keep it straight and finished P18. Not where we should have been with the car we had and not a lock in so back we go tonight for Hard Knox.
Huge thanks to the amazing Ochs Racing team as always. It doesn't get better than this

Qualifying- 21 - Group 2
Heat - P7 to P7
B Main- P12 to P5

On the backfoot from the start drawing pill 88. The team worked hard all night getting the car just right. Hit the track in the B out of 12 and could run anywhere on the track. Finished in a healthy P5 but unfortunately didnt make the transfer to the A Main. Solid start to our week.
