09/16/2026

The Roadrunners competed in the NTC Cross Country Conference at Cowden Park.

Congrats to Jenna Ambuehl and Jenna Bohnhoff for finishing 7th and 9th, respectively, in the girls race!

Congrats to Cody Goeckner (10th), Leo Niemerg (14th), Nolan Bohnhoff (15th), Dawson Niemerg (17th), Henry Probst (24th), Logan Wright (25th), and Ty Tegeler (26th) for finishing in the top half of the boys race. The boys team finished in third place!

The Roadrunners competed in the Olney Invitational today.

Jenna Bohnhoff finished 5th and Jenna Ambuehl 11th, earning medals in the girls race.

The boys team finished 6th overall in the varsity race. Nolan Bohnhoff finished 18th and Leo Niemerg 21st, earning ribbons.

The boys team finished 3rd overall in the junior varsity race. Ty Tegeler finished 13th earning a ribbon.

Eli Muhs finished 1st and Conner Niemerg 8th, earning ribbons in the boys open race.

The Roadrunners competed at the Shelbyville Invite. It is a challenging course with a highly competitive field of runners.

Congrats to Jenna Ambuehl on medaling with a 28th place finish. Jenna Bohnhoff (35th) also finished in the top half of the girls race.

Dawson Niemerg (60th) and Nolan Bohnhoff (69th) finished in the top half of the boys race. The boys finished in 16th place out of 23 teams.

Congrats to Ty Tegeler on medaling with a 15th place finish in the boys open race.

Congrats to Dawson Niemerg, Logan Wright, Jagger Bergbower, Owen Crutcher, and Layla Baxter on earning a personal best time.

The Roadrunners finished second to Teutopolis in a three team meet held at Teutopolis Thursday afternoon.

Jenna Ambuehl finished 4th and Jenna Bohnhoff finished 5th in the girls race.

Nolan Bohnhoff (6th), Dawson Niemerg (7th) Cody Goeckner (8th), and Leo Niemerg (9th) had a strong finish within seconds of each other.

Eli Muhs and Owen Crutcher earned a personal best time.

Roadrunners are at the Shelbyville JH Trail Invite Saturday morning.

The Roadrunners had a meet yesterday at Who Let the Dawgs Out- St. Anthony Junior High Invite at Community Park in Effingham.

Jenna Bohnhoff had a season best time and medaled by finishing 14th overall. Jenna Ambuehl finished in 21st place. They both finished in the top half of the girls race.

Nolan Bohnhoff (25), Leo Niemerg (29), Henry Probst (32), Cody Goeckner (33), and Dawson Niemerg (36) finished in the top half of the boys race. The boys team finished in 6th place. Leo Niemerg set a personal best time.

The Dieterich Junior High Cross Country team competed in the Little Trojan Invite at EIU this morning. This was a highly competitve event with a total of 13 teams competing.

Congrats to Jenna Bohnhoff, Jenna Ambuehl, Cody Goeckner, and Nolan Bohnhoff on finishing in the top 50 of their races. Congrats to Layla Baxter for earning another personal best time.

The Roadrunners have a busy week next week at Effingham Evergreen Hollow Park on Tuesday, Teutopolis Junior High on Thursday, and Shelbyville on Saturday.

The Dieterich Junior High Cross Country team ran in a highly competitive Cumberland Raider Invite Saturday morning with 15 teams.

In the girls race, Jenna Ambuehl (26) and Jenna Bohnhoff (32) placed in the top half of the race. They both had season best.

In the boys race, Dawson Niemerg (31) and Nolan Bohnhoff (40) placed in the top half of the race.

Shout out to Dawson Niemerg, Hudson Benefiel, Ty Tegeler, Jagger Bergbower, Ella Niemerg, and Layla Baxter for getting personal best times.

They have a busy upcoming week: Tuesday at Lake Land, Thursday at Teutopolis, and Saturday at EIU.

The Dieterich Junior High Cross Country team competed at Sam Parr State Park today.

Congrats to Jenna Ambuehl (5) and Jenna Bohnhoff (6) on finishing in the top 10.

Congrats to Nolan Bohnhoff (9), Dawson Niemerg (16), Henry Probst (18), and Cody Goeckner (19) on finishing in the top 20.

Nolan Bohnhoff, Henry Probst, Leo Niemerg, Henry Holland, Hudson Benefiel, Ty Tegeler, Warren Heuerman, Jagger Bergbower, Conner Niemerg, Emmet Egan, and Owen Crutcher all earned personal best times.

Way to go Roadrunners!

The Dieterich Junior High Cross Country season began this morning at Effingham Unit 40 Schools. All of the Roadrunners did a great job this morning and it was a good start to the season to move forward and keep improving.

Congrats to Jenna Bohnhoff and Jenna Ambuehl for finishing 7th and 9th.

Congrats to Dawson Niemerg, Cody Goeckner, Nolan Bohnhoff, and Henry Probst. They placed 7th, 9th, 10th, and 13th.

Junior High Cross Country practice has been canceled for tonight at 5:30 pm. The next practice will be Monday, August 10th at 5:30 pm.
