With the usual start of spring training just 10 days away it’s very disappointing seeing the behavior of the MLB owners and Players both groups need to grow up in my opinion. With 900,000 Americans having died from Covid 19 I think us who remain have to really grow up and understand how lucky we are it’s a different world today and I’m not sure this behavior will be forgiven as just another day at the park.

Wishing all supporters and admirers of the Corner a happy and safe holiday season. Hoping baseball will come to an understanding and return to the playing fields on time in 2022 ! For the love of the Game !!!

A happy and peaceful holiday season to all are friends and supporters! Let’s hope that the players and owners put the game above themselves when working on the new CBA for the 2022 season! Baseball ⚾️ is life !!!!!

Thinking of all the stewards of Tiger Stadium now that another anniversary has passed 9/27/99 the years keep flying by the memories remain vivid but so does the pain of losing a place that was all a part of us. I’m sorry but I still can’t forget them for what they did. We appreciate your continued interest and support of the Corner!

The staff and stewards of the most famous corner in Michigan known as Michigan & Trumbull wish all the people of Michigan a happy and safe Thanksgiving!! Stay well. ⚾️🏈

20 years ago right now I exited Historic Tiger Stadium as one of the last members of the public to leave the iconic Detroit treasure I didn’t exit smiling but I gave it a kiss 💋 next to the historical marker and whispered to her that I would do all I could to make sure it would not become another victim of the Detroit that use to be. After 34 summers and 813 games seen and one magical World Championship season it was time for me to give back to my home away from home. For the next decade Michigan & Trumbull, LLC would do are best to save you that was all we could do. In the end fate did not offer the outcome we wished for and the famous final scene of Todd Jones and Robert Fick would last in our minds forever. We miss you and we still mourn a loss both senseless and criminal. We will never forget the soul of the City a once proud stage of the City of Champions and the Detroit that use to be. We will remember!!!! 9/27/99 ⚾️💕
