Monday night practice is a go! The kids worked on scooping, passing and did a few conditioning drills before playing a game with Motown Lacrosse I’m super excited and proud to be a part of bringing Baaga’adowe back to
But what does this have to do with getting ? Well, Luki Bike Adventures never wanted to limited ourselves to just bikes, that’s why we included the word . Our vision from day one has always been building connections to the land and each other, introducing kids to the outdoors thought biking. The outdoors, community and culture were the end goal, bikes are the vehicle to get us there. These same kids who started biking with us have also gone camping, hiking, kayaking, had blaster fights and play Baaga’adowe with us. They call it the and it’s essential to healthy anishinaabe kids and communities. This is something we really want to grow and see this generation be the first generation in a very long time grow up playing the game.
Keep an eye out for fundraiser coming soon so we can get more sticks and equipment. Chi miigwetch!

First time riding Legacy and it is a roller coaster! That was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. One of the kids said this was the best experience he’s had this year. It was challenging for most of them, a few had to be pushed to get through (literally for one of them) but it was so fun.
