We, also, host Book/Author Talks, Local Plays, Poetry Talks, Community Conversations, and seasonal discussions on the Equinox & Soltices.

📚 New Release Tuesday is here, Source Readers!

We’ve got a really good mix on the new release shelf this week.

For the little readers, You Can Move Mountains: The Artful Life of Painter Bob Ross by Richard Ho and illustrated by Daniel Miyares brings Bob Ross’s life and creative philosophy to a new generation, while Poppy’s Family Recipes by Lauren Semmer follows Poppy and her Granddad as they cook together and share family traditions.

For those looking to dig a little deeper, Searching for Jane Crow by Talitha L. LeFlouria examines the long history of the criminalization and incarceration of Black women and girls. Nationalism: A World History by Eric Storm takes a global look at how nationalism developed and continues to shape politics and culture.

There’s also My Beloved Other by Nick Abadzis and Angela Watson, a memoir exploring love, race, and optimism through their experiences as a biracial couple and their family histories.
