Alright, who wants to do some duck hunting this fall? We will be back on Lake St Clair shooting divers November 27 - December 13. Before that we have openings for pontoon hunts for divers as well as Layout hunt and boat hunts for sea ducks in Saginaw Bay. But the schedule is filling fast. Get in on the action while you can. We know there have been a lack of Facebook posts on here. Both captain Chris and Captain John are busy down on the east coast doing big things on the ocean. We hope everyone is having a great summer and our calendar is open for spring of 2027.

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good! This morning a lot of charter boats from the north end of the Detroit river struggled. Luckily I made a long run early and landed on a great pod of fish. By 8:15 we had a livewell full of good eatters and we shallow for big fish and we found quite a few. That gave me a good starting point for the afternoon and we caught a bunch of really nice fish. One more trip and we are done for the season.
If you think your too shallow, go shallower! Mid day smack down on a nice grade of fish in 5-9 fow.

Still have walk on Wednesday spots open this week. Both am and pm spots available.
Tough day to run a trolling motor out there today but John Pasanen did it like an old pro. He has come a long way in a short time.
