Sometimes you build something because you see an opportunity.
Other times, you build something because you wish it already existed.

StradaFit is the second one for me.
After what happened with my wife, I couldn’t stop thinking about how little awareness a person can have of what’s approaching from behind while they’re on the road.

And the more I thought about it, the more questions came.
Could technology help?

Could it provide an alert without requiring someone to constantly look behind them?
Could it work alongside the way people already run, walk, or cycle?

Could it provide another layer of awareness without becoming another complicated device?
Those questions became the foundation for StradaFit.

The goal isn’t to promise that technology can eliminate road danger.
It can’t.

The goal is to build a personal road safety system that can help a person become aware of an approaching vehicle from behind through a simple vibration alert.
We’re now working toward the functional prototype.

There will be testing.
There will be things we need to change.
There will be lessons we haven’t learned yet.
That’s part of building something new.
What matters to me is that we keep solving the right problem.

So as StradaFit moves forward, I’m excited to continue bringing together the people who can help turn this idea into a real-world product across technology, manufacturing, investment, and strategic partnerships.
For now, I’ll keep building.

Because this started with one simple thought:
What if people could have a better chance of knowing what’s coming from behind?
That’s StradaFit.

And we’re just getting started.

StradaFit started with runners and cyclists in mind.
But the problem is bigger than running.
Think about everyone who spends time near traffic.

A cyclist commuting to work.
A runner finishing an evening route.
Someone walking along a road.

A person exercising in low-light conditions.
A road athlete training early in the morning.
Different people.
Different routines.

Same basic vulnerability:
Traffic can approach from behind without being noticed.

That’s why I see StradaFit as more than a product for fitness.
It’s about personal road awareness.

The goal is to develop a system that can detect an approaching vehicle from behind and alert the wearer through vibration.

Simple enough that it doesn’t demand your attention.
Focused enough that it doesn’t try to become something it isn’t.

And useful enough to potentially give someone an extra moment to become aware of what is happening around them.
We’re now working toward the functional prototype.

At the same time, we’re building the broader ecosystem around StradaFit from engineering and manufacturing to strategic relationships and investment.

There’s a long road ahead.
But I believe solving meaningful problems usually starts with something simple:
Notice the problem. Ask a better question. Then build.

For StradaFit, that question was:
How can we help people become more aware of vehicles approaching from behind?
We’re working on the answer.

09/23/2026

There are already plenty of devices that can tell you how fast you ran.
How far you went.

How many calories you burned.
How your heart performed.
StradaFit is being built around a different question:

What’s happening on the road around you?
That distinction matters.
I don’t want StradaFit to become another fitness tracker with a safety feature added to the list.
The purpose is much more focused.
StradaFit is a personal road safety system designed for people who run, walk, cycle, and spend time near traffic.

The problem we’re trying to address is simple:
A person may be moving forward while a vehicle is approaching from behind.
They may not hear it.
They may not see it.
They may be wearing headphones.

And by the time they become aware of it, they may have very little time to react.
Our goal is to create another layer of awareness through a wearable system that can detect an approaching vehicle and provide a vibration alert.
That’s the idea.
Focused technology.
Focused purpose.
Focused on road awareness.

We’re already moving toward the functional prototype and continuing to bring together the engineering, manufacturing, investment, and strategic relationships needed to develop StradaFit properly.

There’s still a lot to build.
But the reason for building it has never been complicated.

People deserve better awareness of what’s happening around them on the road.
That’s the problem we’re working on.

What if knowing what’s behind you a few seconds earlier could change what you do next?
That question is at the heart of StradaFit.
When you’re running or cycling on the road, your attention naturally moves forward.
You’re watching where you’re going.
Listening to music.
Thinking about your pace.
Getting through your route.
But the road doesn’t only exist in front of you.
A vehicle can approach from behind without you realizing it.
Turning around every few seconds isn’t realistic.
Stopping constantly isn’t realistic either.
And simply hoping drivers see you isn’t a safety strategy I wanted to build around.
That’s why StradaFit is being developed as a personal road safety system designed to provide an additional layer of awareness when a vehicle approaches from behind.
The intended alert is simple:
A vibration that gets your attention.
No complicated screen.
No need to stop your workout.
No attempt to become another fitness tracker.
Just focused technology built around one question:
What’s happening behind me?
We’re now working toward the functional prototype, testing the concept, refining the technology, and building the partnerships needed to take StradaFit forward.
Because sometimes, a few extra seconds of awareness can be meaningful.
And that’s exactly what we’re working to provide.

I didn’t start StradaFit because I wanted to create another fitness wearable.
I started it because I kept seeing a problem that bothered me.
Living in the Florida Panhandle, I’ve seen too many stories involving runners, cyclists, walkers, and vehicles.
Then it became personal.
My wife was nearly seriously injured while riding a bike because a driver wasn’t paying attention.
That moment stayed with me.
I started thinking about how vulnerable we can be when we’re running, cycling, or walking on the road.
You may have headphones in.
You may be focused on your workout.
You may simply have no idea that a vehicle is approaching from behind.
And that’s the part that bothered me most.
Drivers already have technology that helps them become aware of vehicles in their blind spots.
So I started asking:
Why shouldn’t the person outside the vehicle have another layer of awareness too?
That question became StradaFit.
The vision is simple: a personal road safety system designed to detect approaching vehicles from behind and alert the wearer through vibration.
Not to replace awareness.
Not to replace safe road habits.
But to give people another opportunity to know what’s happening around them.
We’re now working toward the functional prototype while continuing to build the right engineering, manufacturing, investment, and strategic partnerships around StradaFit.
The mission hasn’t changed:
Help people know what’s coming from behind.
That’s why I’m building it.

I’m not building StradaFit to compete with Apple Watch, Garmin or Fitbit.
That’s not the goal.
Those products are built to do many things.
StradaFit is being designed around one specific problem: road awareness.
When someone is running, walking or cycling near moving traffic, knowing that a vehicle is approaching from behind can matter.
Yet most people still depend on their ears, their vision, or turning their head to find out.
I believe there is an opportunity to build a dedicated safety layer around that moment.
The vision for StradaFit is simple:
Detect potential approaching traffic.
Alert the user.
Give them more time to react.
We’re targeting a detection range of at least 25 feet if technically achievable, with vibration currently being explored as the preferred alert method.
And importantly, I don’t want the product to depend on controlling the user’s Bluetooth audio.
The product is still early.
Right now, the focus is on finding the right engineering and product-development partners, building the functional prototype, validating the technology and understanding the market.
I’m also starting conversations with investors and strategic partners who see potential in the intersection of:
• Road safety
• Wearable technology
• Mobility
• Consumer technology
• Active lifestyles
There’s a lot to prove.
But that’s what makes this stage exciting.
If you’re an investor, engineer, product developer or strategic partner interested in safety technology, let’s talk.

09/15/2026

Some ideas start with a business opportunity.
StradaFit started with a problem that I couldn’t stop thinking about.
People run.
People cycle.
People walk.
They listen to music and focus on their workout.
But they’re still sharing the road with vehicles.
And sometimes, the most important thing happening around them is the one thing they can’t see.
A vehicle approaching from behind.
I kept asking myself:
Why isn’t there a simple, dedicated safety system built specifically for this?
Not another smartwatch.
Not another fitness tracker.
Not something that tries to do everything.
Just technology focused on helping people become more aware of approaching traffic.
That became the idea behind StradaFit.
We’re now working toward a functional prototype, with the goal of exploring vehicle detection and a simple alert such as vibration — without taking over the Bluetooth connection people already use for their headphones.
There is still a long road ahead.
But I believe some of the best products start by solving one very specific problem really well.
Right now, I’m looking for the right people to help take StradaFit from an idea into a tested, manufacturable product.
Engineers.
Product developers.
Investors.
Strategic partners.
Early testers.
If you believe road safety and wearable technology have a bigger opportunity ahead, I’d love to connect.

We have wearables that track our heart rate, pace, distance, sleep, calories, location and almost everything else.

But when a runner is on the road, there’s one question most of them still have to answer themselves:

“What’s coming up behind me?”
That’s the problem I started looking at with StradaFit.

Runners, walkers and cyclists can be exposed to traffic from behind, especially on roads with limited sidewalks, bike lanes or lighting.
Headphones make it harder to hear.
Darkness reduces visibility.

Curves and road noise create blind spots.
And constantly looking over your shoulder isn’t a practical solution.

StradaFit is being developed as a personal road safety system designed to give people an additional layer of awareness when vehicles approach from behind.

The product is still being developed, and there’s a lot of work ahead across engineering, sensing, firmware, testing and manufacturing.
That’s exactly why I’m sharing the journey now.

We’re now working toward the functional prototype while continuing to build the right engineering, manufacturing, investment and strategic partnerships around StradaFit.

The opportunity isn’t to build another fitness wearable.

It’s to build technology around a problem that has been overlooked: personal road safety.

I’m looking to connect with people who can help us take StradaFit from its current development stage toward a fully functional, tested product whether through engineering expertise, manufacturing capabilities, strategic partnerships or investment.

If this is an area you work in or invest in, I’d genuinely like to connect.

A simple question:

When you’re running or cycling near traffic, how do you know a vehicle is approaching from behind?

You might hear it.
You might see it.
Or you might not notice it until it’s already close.

That uncertainty is the problem StradaFit is exploring.

We’re developing a personal road safety system designed to give people an additional layer of awareness around approaching vehicles.

We’re still early, and we want to learn from the people who actually use roads this way.

Runners, cyclists, walkers: what would make you feel safer on the road?

Your answer could help shape what comes next.

09/09/2026

The best time to build a safety product is before the market starts asking for it.
StradaFit is still early.
The prototype is being developed.
The technology is being explored.
The market is being validated.
But the mission is already clear:
Make people more aware of vehicles approaching around them.
We're now looking for the right people to help turn that vision into a real product.
Investors. Engineers. Hardware experts.
Manufacturers. Strategic partners.
If you're interested in building technology around road safety and human awareness, l'd like to hear from you.
Early conversations can become meaningful partnerships.
