It's Team Tuesday! As mentioned some of our team dancers had a busy Saturday. One of the best parts of the BDS team, is kids still get the opportunity to be part of their school events while on the team. Although there are some days where it all overlaps. We had dancers at marching band competition, little cheerleaders at youth football games and the Cardinals game. The Nutcracker auditons were that morning too. It was a busy weekend. Shout out to all our dancers and their parents.

Huge shout out to Tanglefoot Dance Hall and Countin’ Kicks with Coco! Last night we kicked off our competition season with a mother/daughter night line dancing. Sunday is family night and we had so much fun. To make it even better Pit Stop Party Rentals LLC was there with their robotic caricature artists. Great keepsakes from our family night. Be sure to check them out at the Fall Festival this Saturday. Thank you all for helping us kick off our season. We can't wait to do it again.

It is a busy weekend. Today some of our dancers are auditioning for the Nutcracker. I hope you smile big and pointe those toes. The shoes changed, the studio walls changed, but the love for dance never has. Little Joy on the left never would have imagined she would build her own studio from the ground up and have the opportunity to have her own students.I grew up dancing with Barbara Craig. The studio relocated a few times in Jefferson County before moving to St. Louis County. So grateful for the spark she started and that still continues to be passed on to my students. A little flashback Friday.
