Watching our athletes, coaches, families, and friends come together reminded us exactly what makes 515 Fastpitch so special. We aren’t just building teams—we’re building a community and a place where our girls can grow, compete, and feel supported.

We had an amazing 61 people participate in our Home Run Derby! Congratulations to Tony Nizzi, our Home Run Derby champion, who took home the win with 5 home runs! 💪🥎

A very special thank-you to Jenna Rowe, Travis N Kaleigh Brandt, Jamie Thomas, and Ethan Thomas for everything you did to help make the day possible. Your time, hard work, and willingness to step up did not go unnoticed!

We also want to thank Powerhouse Nutrition and Mills Graphix for joining us and helping make the day even more special.

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, set up, serve food, run activities, clean up, or simply came out to celebrate with us. We couldn’t do any of this without the amazing people who continue to show up for our athletes and organization.

Yesterday was the perfect way to officially kick off our first season as 515 Fastpitch, and we are so excited for everything ahead. This is just the beginning!

This one hurts.

Sometime overnight, our fields were vandalized. Tables were flipped, trash cans dumped, garbage scattered everywhere, and damage was left throughout the park.

What frustrates us most isn’t just the mess—it’s the disrespect shown to a place that so many people pour their time, energy, and heart into. 515 Fastpitch is built by volunteers. Every improvement you see at our park is because someone chose to spend their evenings and weekends making it a better place for our kids.

This morning, those same volunteers showed up once again. Instead of enjoying their weekend, they rolled up their sleeves, cleaned up the mess, and got the park ready so our athletes could continue doing what they love.

To every volunteer who came out today: thank you. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed, and this organization is better because of you.

To whoever did this, you may have created more work, but you didn’t break our spirit. We’ll clean it up, fix it, and keep moving forward—because that’s what this 515 family does.
