Founded in 1990, the
Des Moines Metro Disc Golf Club is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to providing local course maintenance and improvements.
As well as running a spring/summer Tuesday league. The Des Moines Disc Golf Club strives to be a resource for golfers of every level and to make the Des Moines area a vibrant, nationally-recognized disc golf community. We partner with area parks, neighborhoods, businesses and supporters to promote disc golf as a healthy, economical and enjoyable recreational activity for everyone.

Des Moines Open- Saturday, September 5th at Ewing. Search event page on Facebook for details.
DMMDGC Summer Series League Party- Saturday August 29th at Happy Acres. Come out camp, eat, and stay for an epic glow round. Look to event page on Facebook for more details.
Miscellaneous- Check in with CPA/tax accountant. Need to find the key to and check PO Box, possibly look into moving PO Box location. Club Membership discs are in the shed at Pickard. Polecat Challenge broke even. Hesseltine will reach out to Bruce about ordering/paying the invoice for new benches at Osprey. Thank you Matt and crew at Titan Disc Golf Des Moines for your $1k contribution towards this project.
Elections- The November meeting will hold voting, postitions up for election are President, Secretary, and Technology Director. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors please reach out through Des Moines Metro Disc Golf Club messenger before the end of October.
