Due to heavy rain over the past 24 hours we have to cancel league due to poor field conditions. We are looking forward to seeing everyone next week for our final summer league games.

Community members have told us there is pickup being organized for 6 p.m. tonight at Valley View Park in West Des Moines. This is not affiliated with CIU or DSM P&R leagues; all are welcome to join.

CIU's next public board meeting is Wednesday, July 22nd. It will be held at Fong's Pizza after summer league concludes. We hope to see you there!

There is some severe weather rolling through this evening so league is cancelled tonight. We'll get back after it next week!

Had a great time with our summer hat tournament! Thanks to all our participants through the competitive and recreational divisions. We capped off the night with some frozen treats, twas a grand time enjoyed by all!

There are two divisions, competitive and recreational, please select the choice that suits your preference during registration. We'll split everyone into teams and play 3 shorter games from 6pm - 8pm. Afterwards, Central Iowa Ultimate will provide ice cream for everyone at the fields!

About each division:

Recreational: For players of various skill levels who want an experience that prioritizes socialization over competition. Focuses: Enjoyment, Inclusivity, Friendly Competition.

Competitive: For experienced players seeking higher-level play with focus on performance and team level coordination. Focuses: Intensity, Consistency, Winning.

Please bring a dark and a light shirt/jersey.
