Team Iowa assembles the state's best 6th, 7th, and 8th grade football players to take on the nation's best and raise the standard of Iowa youth football.

Players are selected to the team via tryout process. Practices are coordinated through team director and head coaches.

Team Iowa Football is heading to Ames for Tryout #2, and we’re looking for athletes who are ready to compete, develop, and earn the opportunity to represent Iowa.

The standard has been set.

Yesterday was the first Team Iowa tryout of the year, and the talent, effort, and competitiveness were on full display.

Every rep mattered. Every athlete had an opportunity to compete, get coached, and prove they belong.

This is only the beginning.

At Team Iowa, we’re committed to developing athletes, building confidence, and creating opportunities to compete against some of the best talent in the country while representing Iowa the right way.

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and for bringing the energy. We’re excited about what’s ahead.

We’re proud to have a director & coach whose journey includes All-American honors, national & conference Defensive Player of the Year, and the NFL…but even more proud of the impact he’s making on the next generation of Iowa athletes.

Karter Schult was definitely ‘That Guy’!

Karter Schult recorded 17 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, and 74 total tackles his senior season, which earned him MVFC Defensive Player of the Year, and his 2nd First-Team All-American honor!
