Park Hill Dance Academy
Our dance academy has been a fixture in this area since 1978, and our team has more than 20 years of experience in different styles of dance and technique.
Park Hill Dance Academy in Denver, Colorado, is a ballet academy providing classes in classical ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and aerial dance for kids, teens, and adults. Our studio is open to students of all ages and abilities from beginner to pre-professional. Ballet levels pre-ballet-level 6. Modern levels 1-4. Jazz levels 1-3 and we even have aerial dance classes.

Meet Monday! Kaylee Skelton
Kaylee Skelton is from Littleton, Colorado, where she started her serious ballet training at Belliston Academy of Ballet, under the direction of Jeannine Belliston.
Ms. Skelton attended summer courses at Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet, and Boston Ballet.
She then continued her training on scholarship in the Professional Division with Pacific Northwest Ballet, where she had the opportunity to perform in ballets with the company, such as Kent Stowell’s “The Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake”, and “Cinderella”, as well as world premiere pieces set by PNB’s company members. She also danced as a company member with Nevada Ballet Theatre in Las Vegas, collaborating with Cirque du Soleil and performing roles such as “Big Swans” and “Spring Fairy” in James Canfield’s “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker”.
Kaylee then joined City Ballet of San Diego, where she danced in the company for 3 years. There she had the opportunity to dance many roles, including ballets by George Balanchine, such as “Tall Girl” in Rubies, “Choleric” in The Four Temperaments, and “Solo Girl” in La Source. Before joining Avant Chamber Ballet, she spent a year as a Principal Dancer with Reformation Dance Company under the direction of Kathleen Vreeland. This is her seventh season with Avant Chamber Ballet.
Ms. Skelton has had the pleasure of teaching at many places, including Belliston Ballet where she grew up, and assistant teaching at Pacific Northwest Ballet. She mainly teaches ballet and pointe, but has also taught jazz, leaps and turns, and more.

‘Monday Meet’ Feature! Meet one of our summer intensive guest instructors, Brandon Maxwell!
Brandon Maxwell is an award-winning Los Angeles based dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, and educator. He is a graduate of Chapman University with a BFA in
Dance Performance and a BA in Public Relations and Advertising.
As a performer, he has had the opportunity to dance for film, television, commercials, music videos,
and live stage performances. Some performance credits include the Super Bowl Tillamook Block Jams commercial, Apple, Marvel, Keke Palmer, Based on a True Story, wowashwow’s Times Square Billboard, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Imagine Dragons, Sub Urban, Jordan Fisher, Champs Sporting Goods,
CBS, TNT Sports, and more.
As a choreographer, he has collaborated with fellow artists to create projects that emphasize storytelling and artistry. Some of his recent choreography credits include Club Jete, Choreographer’s Carnival, Daredevil Arts Festival, HMG Presents CONTINUUM, Hollywood Reporter, World of Dance, Chapman University, VOICES Fest, Reconstruct Exhibition, Contra Coffee + Tea, Chozin, and more.
As a filmmaker, his debut short film was the recipient of the City of Los Angeles’ Dance in the City commission. His debut film received the Best GENiUS Short Film Award at DaVinci International Film Festival and the Best First Time Filmmaker Award at Manhattanhenge Film Festival. His films have been selected for IndieFilm LA, Lighthouse International Film Festival, Atlanta Micro
Short Film Festival, Newark Independent Film Festival, LankerScream Festival of Fright, Leftover Film Festival, Lift-Off Global Network, and more.
As an educator, he has spread his love of dance to students of all ages at dance studios, schools, charitable organizations, and collegiate universities across the country. He is a member of HMG the Company, Ardor Effect, along with the Television Academy and the National Dance Educators Organization.
We had so much fun in our K-Pop Demon Hunters Camp and our Defy Gravity Beginner Aerial Camp this week! Everyone did so amazing, and we are so proud!
