A special message to the staff and families involved in our summer recreation camp, from Manager of Youth Programs, Liam Westwood:

"As we close the 30th year of PASS Camp, I’m reminded that while so much has changed over the decades, our mission remains the same: creating fun, meaningful experiences for Denver’s youth. This summer brought many firsts as the University and Ritchie Center continued to evolve, but our commitment to serving campers and families never wavered.

To the more than 1,800 campers and their families, thank you for trusting us to be part of your summer. It has been a privilege to watch your children learn, grow, build friendships, and create memories that will last far beyond these 13 weeks. We look forward to welcoming many of them back through our Learn To programs and School Days Off camps in the future.

To our staff, thank you. Your dedication, adaptability, attention to detail, and genuine care for our campers made all the difference. The moments we share may feel temporary, but the impact they have on a child can last a lifetime. Each of you played a part in shaping a remarkable summer, and I am incredibly proud to have been part of your journey. Thank you for everything you accomplished and for the lasting difference you made in the lives of our campers and families."

Drop-in gymnastics classes are here! 🎉

Join us during the school year for a fun-filled introduction to movement, balance, and gymnastics for little learners! 🤸‍♀

Classes will focus on promoting coordination, balance, strength and rhythm through coach-guided, developmentally-appropriate interactive activities for preschool children and their caregivers. Activities include combinations of musical warm-up, stretching, trampoline, and vault/bars/beam/floor circuits that will introduce participants to gymnastics skills and promote general motor development.

⛸️ From Learn to Skate to hockey camps and clinics, kids can progress from learning the basics to mastering their skills in our top-notch facilities.

🥅 Adult hockey players can hit the ice with Stick & Puck practice, drop-in hockey, and DU Adult Hockey Leagues (DUAHL). 📅 Check our public skate calendar for drop-in practice and game times, or register for the fall season of DUAHL starting August 1!

🙌 And let’s not forget our DU students, who bring the energy to Magness Arena—both on the ice 🏒 and in the stands! 🎉

Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Carnegie Green for an afternoon of movement, community and DU spirit. Registration check-in begins at 1 p.m., followed by pre-race activities and vendors at 2 p.m. The race starts at 3 p.m.!

Faculty, staff, students, alumni, retirees and their families are all welcome to participate. Whether you’re racing, walking or cheering from the sidelines, come help us start Homecoming on a high note!
