IT’S RYDER CUP DAY! 🔵🔴

Today is the annual Blue vs. Red Ryder Cup. It’s match play with 3 points available per team pairing:
1 point for each individual match
1 point for the team match
If you’re tied after 18, each team gets ½ point

But first… IT’S HOT. DAMN HOT.
Please hydrate and take care of yourselves out there. Beer is not hydration, no matter how hard you try to convince yourself it is. Drink plenty of water and save the excuses for the 19th hole.

Now for the real question… Can Red Team finally break the 4-year Blue Team winning streak? Captains Josh Weren and Jack Faunce are hoping the answer is a very loud NOPE.

The 2-Man, 2-Day Championship is in the books, and the golf was just as HOT as the temperatures this weekend.

Despite the heat, the pace of play was right on par both days and no slow play penalties all weekend. The Board thanks everyone for keeping things moving and making the tournament enjoyable for all.

Phil aced #2 yesterday with a smooth 9-iron, checking off one of golf's greatest achievements.

Congrats, Phil! Here's to a shot you'll be talking about for the rest of your life... and a bar bill you'll be trying to forget!

Day 2 of the Wellshire Member-Member... and yes, it's STILL HOT.

Today's forecast is calling for a record high of 102° with a chance of scattered thunderstorms. Just a friendly reminder... golf is an outdoor sport, and everyone in the field is playing under the exact same conditions. Stay hydrated, embrace the sweat, and go make some birdies.

The team outfits have been outstanding this year, but this dynamic duo absolutely took the cake. Unfortunately, Hole 18 decided it was hungry and took a pretty big bite out of their backside.

The 2-Man, 2-Day Tournament is officially underway today at 11am.

Thursday night's Calcutta was packed with great energy, plenty of laughs, a little friendly trash talk, and just enough questionable bidding to make things interesting. Now it's time to settle it on the course.

Today's forecast: HOT, Damn HOT.

Hydrate early, find whatever shade you can, and remember... everyone has to play in the same oven.

Today is the Horse Race ISP, a tradition originally started by John Lumley.

There was a lot of action at the betting window last night, and a few names kept coming up. According to the bookmakers (and several self-appointed golf experts), the early favorites are:

A little wind, a lot of heat, and some pretty good golf. Day 1 of the Member-Guest is officially in the books. Time to rehydrate, tell a few stories that get better with each retelling, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Poker party lasted till 11:15 and I’m sure someone will tell me who won.

Today is the Tombstone ISP, and apparently Mother Nature decided she wanted in on the action.
