PRESEASON FINALE: The Patriots traveled to Cleveland this week, to face the Browns tonight for Thursday Night Football.

The Patriots will sit their starters, as they did the other past two games.

This will wrap the preseason up, giving a two week break until the Patriots travel to Seattle.

The Patriots made 5 roster moves today, sent WR Kayshon Boutte to the Texans, their second-year RB left practice with a right ankle/foot injury, but on a good note, CB Christian Gonzalez came back to practice, after a 2 week absence.

The Patriots are trading WR Kayshon Boutte to the Texans, for safety Jaylen Reed and a draft pick, per Tom Peliserro.

Very unfortunate to see Boutte go, but the Patriots did well by him.

The Patriots are signing veteran punter Matt Haack, per Sophie Weller.

Mike Vrabel announced that the team would be signing a punter, after P Bryce Baringer got hurt in Saturday’s preseason game against the Eagles.

The Patriots need to cut two players to follow the move up.

New England gets a 6’7” offensive lineman, as they upgrade o-line depth following depth issues.
