Come to Denver Roller Derby's New Recruit Night, September 2nd at 6:30pm, where we will provide you with all the information you need to know about our new skater program, Flight School!
In Flight School, you will learn all things roller derby; from the skating basics all the way up to full contact!

This event is for people of any gender who are 18+ and are interested in learning roller derby.

Enjoy music and roller skating? Blackwater Railroad Company will be playing a show at The Rollerdome (2375 S. Delaware St.) on Sunday, August 30th!

Tell your friends to come hang with us, dance, and skate! The show is $10 at the door (or at https://www.tixtree.com/e/blackwater-railroad-at-the-rollerdome-2564ee60f9b0) and skate rental is $10. Bring your own skates if you have them. Doors open at 7:30pm and the event is 18+

Best of luck to the Layovers as they join Arizona Roller Derby for their double DOUBLE header. On August 22, they take on AZRD’s Skate Riot Project at 7 p.m. on August 23, catch them in action against AZRD’s Bad News Beaters!

Happy belated birthday to Lobo Fantástico #501! Lobo joined Denver in 2025 and skates with Layovers and home team Bad Apples and also serves as our Ombuds. Fun fact: she also skates with JRD and Fuego and is a history professor at Colorado College where she recently taught a course on the History of Roller Derby.
