The 3rd Wingsuit Open Fundraiser is a charity disc golf tournament fundraiser and Mini Disc Golf event for The Mockingbird Foundation who supports music education and access for children’s groups and schools. Celebrating the music of Phish when they come to Denver, this is a sister event to the 11th Runaway Open ball golf fundraiser and is open to beginners and experienced players alike.

Anyone anywhere who can't make it to the event, can still support in multiple ways. Easy sponsorships starting at $25 using the SPON (sponsorship) division, straight donations to The Mockingbird Foundation through the NCS (non-competing caddy spectator) or MINI (Mini Disc Golf only not PDGA) divisions on Disc Golf Scene registration page, or purchases through the NPPP program on eBay.

There are 3 NPPP or non-playing players pack purchase fundraising options, so that anyone anywhere can help support The Mockingbird Foundation, even if they can't make it to the tournament. The 2026 Shades of Gray Masters Supported by Climo Disc Golf is the longest running masters event for everyone over 40 in Colorado. Playing one round of 18 holes per day at Adams Hollow DGC October 3-4, 2026, plus Putting Competition and Mini Disc Golf extra fun events to raise funds for the official tournament charity Paul McBeth Foundation. Anyone anywhere can support this event from $25 using the SPON sponsorship division, donate to the Paul McBeth Foundation directly or register to play the extra fun events, including the general public, all through the Disc Golf Scene registration page.

There will be a separate women’s layout with some temp tees and favorable pars, updated course map coming soon. How did you celebrate National Disc Golf Day?

We ran 2026 Inside The Chains focused on being a comfortable first step into competition, while still fun for seasoned players too as a Professional Disc Golf Association C-tier. We designed and managed separate Pro and Rec layouts at the Rhyolite Regional Park DGC with an additional 1961 feet on the Pro Layout, including a 870' huge downhill throw and a couple ‘double-holes’ combing two Rec layout holes into one.

In an effort to continue disc golf traditions of camaraderie like high-fiving all your card-mates before and after the round, I taught then asked everyone during a players meeting to do a ‘Johnny Roberts Howl’ after each group screams start. Listen to the results on the video.

As with all PJC events who supports the communities we play in, the 2026 ITC raised $350 so far for Colorado kids through Educational Disc Golf Experience (EDGE) from straight donations during registration, the Ace Pool that nobody hit, Mini Disc 1 Throw CTP and Putting Competition extra fun events and a per player deduction. Plus there are four remaining eBay Auctions that are still ongoing, so it will be more.
