Attached is a structured breakdown of the summer schedule, tryouts, and registration requirements.

Summer Practice Schedule for current RRHS golfers and incoming golfers

​When: Every Wednesday, June 17 through July 29
​Time: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
​Where: Riverdale Golf Course
​Cost: Free
​Note: These sessions are completely voluntary but highly recommended for practicing with the team and coaches before the season starts.

​Tryout Information (RRHS Boys Golf)

​Tryouts consist of 18 holes of competitive play each day. Registration must be 100% complete to try out.
​Day 1: Monday, August 3 | Tee times begin at 12:00 p.m.
​Day 2: Tuesday, August 4 | Tee times begin at 11:00 a.m.
​Location: Riverdale Golf Course (The Dunes)

​Fall Sports Registration & Deadlines

​The Athletic Department handles over 400 registrations across 9 sports, so registering early is strongly encouraged.

​Deadlines for Boys Golf:

​Registration Opens: Monday, July 6, 2026
​Registration Closes: Wednesday, July 29, 2026
​Final Clearance Deadline: Friday, July 31, 2026 (by 12:00 p.m. noon)

​Important Billing & Office Notes:

​The Athletic Department is closed until July 24, 2026.
​Any registrations submitted between July 6 and July 23 will be processed starting July 24, at which point the $150 Athletic Fee will be added to accounts.
​Ensure all past-due fees are cleared before July 24 to avoid clearance delays.

​Registration Checklist:

​Physical Exam: Complete and upload the CHSAA Required Physical Form to your Arbiter Registration account.

​Crucial:

Page 4 of the CHSSA physical form must be completely filled out with all signatures, or the athletic department will reject it.

Brynn Balliet's putt on the 18th hole at the State Golf Championship was the decisive factor in securing second place for the Ravens. The competition was fierce, especially on hole 18 today, where the Air Academy Kadets held a narrow one-shot lead. Brynn Balliet sank an 8-foot putt, clinching victory for the Ravens. Special recognition goes to Brynn for her outstanding individual performance, securing 3rd place, and to Leah Johnson for her impressive 7th place. The season's journey, filled with growth and memorable moments, has been a source of immense pride for your families and coaches, who have witnessed your growth and commitment firsthand. We couldn't be prouder!

Today's the day, Karina and Brynn, your final high school golf tournament. Having shared countless moments on the course for over 4 years, your teamwork and camaraderie have been a driving force for your team. Go out there and give it your all at state, savoring every moment of this special day.

The Lady Ravens endured the harsh weather conditions of cold, wind, and rain on the first day of the state event. Tomorrow is forecasted to bring better weather. The current standings headed into tomorrow are as follows:

The Lady Ravens finished their last practice today with all eyes on tomorrow, the first day of the state golf tournament. They let loose afterwards with a team-friendly putting competition where Coach Rhodes and Karina showed everyone how it was done.

Good luck to our Girls Golf team as they head to Motrose to defend their State Champion Title this Monday and Tuesday! Karina was unavailable for the send off celebration after school Friday so we FaceTimed her in!!
