It’s the first week of September and we have a lot happening at Thrive Ballet!

Wednesday, September 2, 2026
Int/Adv Pointe class will be a short warm up and then 4Pointe Level 2 (still for Int/Adv pointe dancers and dancers in flat shoes may also participate)

Thursday, September 3, 2026
The first Thursday of every month the 6-7:45pm class is Floor Barre instead of Turns class. Floor barre is open to all levels.

First Friday!
This month’s First Friday we’ll be learning about the The Little Humpbacked Horse. This ballet is based on a Russian fairy tale with music by Pugni and Drigo. Monday, September 7, 2026
No youth classes.
Adult/Open classes will be held.

This Wednesday's Intermediate/Advanced Pointe class (6-7:30pm) will be a short warm up followed by a full 4Pointe Intermediate class.

This Thursday, 6-7:45pm will be floor barre/dance mechanics instead of turns class.

First Friday is Friday, August 7, 2026, 7pm: First Fridays are back! For August we will be learning about and watching a variety of shorter pieces by different choreographers: Liam Scarlett’s Viscera, Carlos Acosta’s Carmen, Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun, George Balanchine’s Tchaicovsky Pas De Deux, and Christopher Wheeldon’s Within the Golden Hour. There is something for everyone! Let us know if you’d like to attend!
