đż Self-Care Saturday đż
Watch the water.
It doesnât rush to prove itself.
It doesnât ask permission to move.
It doesnât apologize for its power.
It flows around obstacles.
It keeps going.
It shapes the landscape over time.
Thatâs self-care too.
Not forcing.
Not fighting.
But choosing to keep moving in your own way.
Maybe today you donât need to push harder.
Maybe you just need to flow.
Take one breath.
Drop your shoulders.
Unclench your jaw.
Youâre allowed to be both powerful and peaceful.
⨠Where in your life do you need to soften instead of force?

đą Something felt both beautiful⌠and unsettling today.
While walking Kylo I spotted these flowers pushing up through the ground â bright color breaking through the winter brown.
My first reaction was pure joy.
Then I remembered⌠itâs February.
A mild Denver winter means sweatshirts instead of snow boots, longer walks, and little signs of spring.
And at the same time, it made me pause.
Sometimes two things can be true at once:
I can appreciate the beauty in front of me and be more aware of the world around me.
Today felt like a gentle reminder to stay grateful â
but also intentional.
So Iâm asking myself:
What small choices can I make that care for the place I live?
đ Iâd love to hear from you â whatâs one small way you try to take care of our planet?

đ Motivational Monday đ
Boundaries Are a Love Language.
Boundaries arenât easy â but they are necessary.
They arenât always comfortable â but they are freeing.
And they arenât optional â they are a form of self-love and self-respect.
Boundaries teach people how to treat you.
They protect your time, your energy, your body, and your peace.
And they allow you to show up more fully â without resentment or burnout.
Youâre allowed to set boundaries around:
⨠Your time
⨠Your emotional energy
⨠Your body
⨠Your availability
⨠Your values
Having boundaries doesnât make you cold, difficult, or selfish.
It makes you clear.
đ Reflection:
Where in your life do you need to set â or strengthen â a boundary right now?

⨠Quick check-in⌠how do your clothes make you feel? â¨
When you get dressed, do you feel:
đĽ strong
đŤ confident
đ sexy
đ¤ comfortable in your own skin
Because what you wear isnât âjust clothesâ⌠itâs energy.
Itâs self-expression.
Itâs a vibe.
And yes â we all have those days where the jammies are calling our name đ
But on the days you do get dressed⌠what are you choosing to put on?
You donât have to get dressed up every dayâŚ
but why not wear something that makes you feel GOOD, instead of just grabbing whatever is closest?
Try a few tiny upgrades:
đ a little jewelry
đ a swipe of mascara or lip gloss
𧼠your favorite jacket
đ shoes that make you feel powerful
It doesnât have to be much â just enough to remind you:
youâre worth the effort.
And if youâre bored with your closet or feel like you have ânothing to wearâ?
⨠Change it up!
Go thrifting.
Host a clothing swap.
Get a fresh look for not much $$.
đ How do you want to feel in your clothes today?

âď¸ Ohhhh the things we do for love⌠đžđ
It has been so cold here in Denver lately.
Yes yes, I know itâs winter⌠but I am never emotionally prepared for it đđĽś
The other night I was walking Kylo and I literally thought to myself:
âOh the things I do for love.â
Kylo lives for her daily walks.
She doesnât bark or demand⌠she just sweetly reminds me itâs time by:
đś hanging out in my office
đś staring at me like âbestie⌠itâs walk oâclockâ
đś gently herding me toward the door
And honestly? Sheâs not wrong.
Love looks like showing up â even when itâs freezing outside.
But you know what else love looks like?
đż Healthy boundaries.
Because here are a few things I wonât do for love anymore:
⨠I wonât blindly give my time and energy just to keep the peace.
⨠I wonât say yes without checking in with myself first.
⨠I wonât do something just because everyone else is â if it doesnât align with me.
And I havenât always lived this wayâŚ
I used to people-please. I used to overgive. I used to ignore my own needs.
But Iâve been on a journey to trust myself more â and if youâre on that journey too, I promise:
you can get there.
Keep following along for support, tools, and gentle reminders that choosing yourself is not selfish â itâs self-respect. đ
