📚Signs you’re an HSP, deeply feeling mama and it’s back to school 🍁

✨ The school supply list gave you low-grade anxiety

✨ You rehearsed what to say (or researched questions to ask the kids) before you even got there

✨ Meet the teacher night wiped you out and you needed a nap

✨ You almost cried at the first day of school photos

✨ The class group chat notifications genuinely stress you out

✨ You’ve been zoning out or reaching for your phone more, just to calm down

✨ You’re easily agitated and the big feelings are BIG this week

✨ You’re counting down to 5pm so you can finally pour that drink

If you said “yes” to at least half of these… you’re likely an HSP mom just like me. And that’s not a flaw, it’s just how you’re wired. And it can truly be your super power.

You need one tool, done deeply, that actually helps you recover.

💕 That’s exactly what Self*tember is for — 30 days, one thing, alongside others just like you, so you’re not doing it alone. 🖤

I was really feeling like opening a bottle 🍷 earlier this week.

I was also hungry yet didn’t feel like a meal or snack was necessary. I’m always pretty well hydrated so I knew it wasn’t that either.

I had already done some breathing and regulated myself yet still had a lingering need for something….but it wasn’t going to be alcohol.

So, I walked to my fridge and pulled out this nice, cold kombucha. I sipped on it for 2 hours, and boy am I so happy I did!!!

My belly was happy and content and so was my body and self.

Great reminder to have things on hand ready to go at all times 😉 you never know when the cravings will strike.

Thank you SYNERGY Kombucha for saving the day once again!

🙋‍♀️ How can you set yourself up for success for the weekend or your next trigger/craving? Comment with your fav go-to!

Don’t forget to save this reminder 💋

6 tips to drink less without white-knuckling it:
1️⃣ Delay your first drink by 30 minutes
2️⃣ Pour it, then put the bottle away… out of arm’s reach (out of sight is even better)
3️⃣ 1 drink per hour, max. That’s all your body can process anyway
4️⃣ Alternate with a “placebo drink” (soda water, same glass or find a booze-free option you love!)
5️⃣ Know your “why” tonight. Why are you drinking? And why do you want to moderate?
6️⃣ Track it somewhere other than your head.

I built a free app for this ⬆️ comment APP and I’ll send you the link!

Which one are you trying tonight?

Don’t forget to save and watch before your next drinking outing 😘 cheers

💡 Did you know 15-20% of people are born with a more sensitive nervous system that processes emotions, sounds, and others’ moods more deeply?!

This isn’t a flaw but it can be a superpower!

Do you ever feel depleted after social situations? Does alcohol help quiet the noise?

It used to for me, too. Until I learned not only was it temporary but it actually makes things worse the next day 😵

What you actually need is to regulate your nervous system instead of relying on willpower to not drink or drink less.

That’s exactly what I help with. Comment RESET to start healing today (link in bio) or go to ShameOver.me/quiz and find out your drinking type now.

Sip smarter this summer ☀️🍹

You don’t have to choose between having fun and feeling good. Change your relationship with alcohol, learn to drink on purpose, and discover that your favorite drink might just be the one that leaves you feeling amazing tomorrow. ✨

These are a few of my go-to booze-free summer sips that make moderation SO much easier. Cheers to waking up without the regret. 💛

Have you ever noticed it’s not actually about the drink?

After a fun night out, your brain just wants more of the feeling—more connection, more energy, more “don’t let this end.” But here’s the truth: more drinks don’t extend the fun… they usually lead to regret, guilt, and a rough next day.

In this video, I break down why this happens and share a simple, powerful shift that helps you drink less without relying on willpower.

✨ The key? Pre-planning your ending.

Instead of leaving it up to “in the moment” decisions (when your brain is tired and impulsive), you set yourself up ahead of time with something intentional—like a calming nighttime ritual waiting for you when you get home.

This is how you:
✔️ Break the “one more drink” cycle
✔️ Feel more in control without restriction
✔️ Actually follow through on what you want

If you’re trying to drink less but still enjoy your life, this is for you.

Comment “prep” and I’ll send you my Prep for Success Guide so you can actually start drinking less—without relying on willpower or white-knuckling your way through it.

Because let’s be real… if willpower worked, you wouldn’t be here 😉

Stop trying to control yourself in the moment… start setting your future self up to win.

Alcohol often isn’t just about the alcohol.
For so many women, it has become the support system where support is lacking everywhere else. And that is exactly what this podcast episode is about.

In Part 1, and I talk about:
• what somatic work actually means and why it’s become such a buzzword
• the difference between top-down healing and body-based healing
• why so many women use alcohol to “shut off”
how alcohol can become a stand-in for support, soothing, and regulation
• the role of motherhood, caregiving, and overwhelm in drinking habits
• why co-regulation matters so much more than we’ve been taught
• how Western culture disconnects us from our bodies
• why community can be one of the most healing parts of the journey

She works with individuals, couples, families, and groups to explore the patterns that live beneath the surface, in the body, in the lineage, and in relationship. Guess what? You’re not “too emotional” - you likely were never taught how to FEEL your emotions.

And so what do we do?

We distract.
We push it down.
We pour a glass of wine and tell ourselves we’ll deal with it later.

But here’s the truth no one talks about:
👉 What you don’t process… your body will.

That stress? That grief? That low-grade “off” feeling you can’t quite explain?

It doesn’t disappear. It just waits.
And sometimes it shows up as: Burnout. Anxiety. Getting sick. Or that moment where everything hits you all at once.

I've lived this. Multiple times.
And I can say with absolute certainty— numbing it with alcohol doesn’t make it go away…
…it makes it last longer.

Feeling your emotions isn’t the problem.
Avoiding them is.

So before you reach for a drink tonight, ask yourself:
✨ What am I actually feeling right now?
✨ How am I letting these feelings come through to be processed?
✨ And what would it look like to let that be okay?

Start there.

That’s where everything changes.
