Yes, that’s a life sized diorama of Goodnight Moon…entirely knit! Artists Emilie Odeile and Ken Chapin created this piece and installed it at the School House in Parker, Colorado. Brilliant, truly!

At the PACE Center with Chuck Parson, enjoying his work and the stories behind it. This guy does so much with black and white…so much gray area that lets your mind wander.

Don’t miss the final days of Daniel Sprick’s () exhibition, Fleeting Presence: The Liminal Art of Daniel Sprick on view at the Madden Museum () until July 31st!

The show was organized by a cohort of sixteen students from the School of Art & Art History at the University of Denver, and explores formal and thematic tensions. His paintings reflect our world back to us, but it’s a world imbued with hints of melancholy and hidden meaning. Embracing ambiguity, Sprick’s art brings together seeming opposites – life and death, stillness and dynamism, transience and permanence – transforming our everyday existence into something magical and mysterious.

Don’t miss Adrienne Stein’s () solo exhibition “The Enchanted Eye” at Gallery 1261 () running until August 6th.

The show is comprised of 25 painting that were inspired by experiences of beauty that Adrienne has had in gardens where she has recently spent a lot of time. Adrienne hopes to immerse the viewer in the magic and transcendence of the natural world by observing it with great attention, love, detail and vibrant color. To Adrienne, a garden is an open-air sanctuary; a place of healing, beauty, prayer and contemplation. The overall feeling of these works is one of joy and exuberance, inspired by the happiness of becoming a wife and mother in recent years.
