KMF Performance offers a full range of affordable coaching services for triathlon, swimming, cycling, and running. Our philosophy is to provide personalized coaching based on each athlete’s current fitness level, specific goals, personal strengths, and areas for improvement, as well as the challenges of balancing training with other areas of life. We have successfully coached athletes of all ability and experience levels to the start and across the finish lines of races of all distances, and we pride ourselves on being a team that is supportive and encouraging of all members!

Boulder 70.3 2021… getting towed along sitting on some quality feet! One of my favorite run memories in triathlon and one more thing I love about this sport. Congrats Taylor and Team USA on the Mixed team relay silver medal. What a battle!!!!

Fun little heat acclimation data project. I came back to TX after a few weeks in the mountains and had to acclimate to 100 degree temps. Same 7.75 mile run at about the same time each morning. From having to walk on the first day to feeling pretty normal by Friday. The really neat thing was weight loss through sweating… going from about 2.5lbs on up to 5lbs. Our bodies are neat. Also… hydrate.

Finished up the 2021 race season with the Brazos Bend 50 miler.

Pretty much a race from the get go, we pushed things a bit harder than planned, and rather than play it smart and do my own thing, I just went with it and figured I’d see how it all turned out.

Felt great through 38 miles, ran into a brick wall at mile 43, and lost the lead at 47, but by then I just happy to make it to the finish line!!

Got a 50K PR by a couple minutes (3:58ish) and a 50 mile PR by about 50mins, so all in all the suffering paid off well enough!

Looking forward to moving back to some short course racing for some of 2022 before getting back to the long stuff and chopping more minutes and hours off the ultra stuff.

Much thanks to everyone checking up on me and to Rob with Trail Racing over Texas for always putting on an excellent event.
