Some birthdays are unforgettable... but not for the reasons you'd hope.
On September 21, 2025βhis birthdayβa crash during a motorcycle race changed everything. What started as a day at the track ended with a helicopter flight to a Palm Springs hospital and a collarbone shattered into seven pieces.
For months, recovery became the race.
By December 29, he finally got the green light to lift his arm overhead again. In January, he returned to rowingβslowly, carefully, one stroke at a time. Each class helped rebuild strength, confidence, and the belief that he'd get back to doing what he loves.
And in April, after postponing a long-awaited trip, he finally made it to Spain to ride again.
We're honored that RowVival could be a small part of Joel's journey. During his recovery, we opened our doors so he could ease back into movement at his own pace.
His words say it best:
"Thanks to RowVival for allowing me to ease back into rowing using the studio after my accident. It meant the world to me."
Recovery isn't always about getting back to where you were. Sometimes it's about discovering just how strong you really are. ππ©΅
