Today I lost a dear friend.
For over 40 years, Gilad was part of my life. He wasn’t just a fitness icon to me—he was family. A trusted friend, a mentor, and often the big brother I never had.
Just two months ago we were together, sharing stories, laughing, and talking about life. Looking back now, I am so grateful for that time.
The world knew Gilad for his incredible energy, his smile, and his passion for helping people live healthier lives. Those of us lucky enough to know him personally knew an even greater gift—his kindness, generosity, humility, and genuine love for people.
He inspired millions through fitness, but his greatest impact was the way he made people feel. Encouraged. Seen. Supported. Better about themselves.
It’s hard to imagine a world without him in it.
Thank you, Gilad, for your friendship, your wisdom, your laughter, and the countless memories we shared over the years. You helped shape an industry, but more importantly, you touched so many lives, including mine.
I will miss you deeply and cherish our friendship forever.

Recovery has always been part of my active life.
My first introduction to the Thera laser was back in 2014 after I hurt my hamstring playing tennis. I couldn’t walk, and within five days of Healios laser therapy, I was back walking again.
