Set it up. Make it yours. Put it to work.
One of the things we love about seeing UltraSlide in different training environments is how each facility makes it work for their space, their programming, and their people.
From a customized board to an adjustable training surface and endless ways to add load, movement, and challenge…the setup is only the beginning!
Here’s a look at how the team at Zarett Rehab puts their UltraSlide to work.

One movement can train more than you think…
At first glance, this looks like a simple lateral movement drill, but every repetition challenges multiple aspects of athletic performance at once.
This movement helps develop:
• Lower-body strength
• Cardiovascular endurance
• Balance & stability
• Coordination
• Agility
• Core engagement
Instead of training muscles in isolation, functional movements challenge your body to work as an integrated system - the way it was designed to move.
Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve performance or someone who simply wants to move better in everyday life, training movement quality matters.
Which performance quality are you working on most right now?

Squats, lunges, and deadlifts deserve a place in your routine...but building lower-body strength is only part of preparing your body to move well.
In sports, workouts, and everyday life, your legs also need to stabilize, shift weight, move laterally, change direction, and control momentum.
That’s where dynamic slideboard training changes the conversation.
These five UltraSlide exercises introduce demands that traditional leg-day routines can miss…
You’re still building strength, but you’re also challenging balance, coordination, lateral movement, stability, and control.
Your leg day may not need more weight. It may need more movement!

Don’t just complete the movement. Upgrade it.
Your workout isn’t bad or wrong…but one simple change can make the movement feel completely different AND provide greater benefit long term.
Adding an UltraSlide Slideboard sliding surface to plank jacks creates continuous movement, challenges your core to stabilize, and requires greater control through every rep, all without jumping your feet in and out.
Same exercise. Different training demand.

Leg day shouldn’t only prepare you to move weight. It should prepare you to move your body!
Strength matters. But so does your ability to shift weight, stabilize, move laterally, change direction, and control momentum.
That’s where dynamic training comes in.
Train for more than strength. Train for movement.
✍️Save this as your reminder to rethink your next leg day.

Your core does far more than flex your spine. It’s responsible for stabilizing your body, resisting unwanted movement, transferring force, and supporting nearly everything you do from training into everyday life.
Exercises like mountain climbers and pikes on the UltraSlide challenge your core dynamically, requiring your shoulders, hips, and trunk to work together while maintaining control.
The result?
✔️ Greater full-body engagement
✔️ Improved stability and coordination
✔️ Functional strength that translates beyond the gym
Train your core to move, not just to burn.

TRAIN SMARTER, MOVE BETTER
Most workouts have us moving forward and backward, which maters - but real life and sports require us to move side to side, too.
Lateral training helps build the agility, balance, coordination, and control, that linear movement alone can miss. A well-rounded body should be prepared to move in every direction....not just one! ↔️
Want to understand the difference between lateral and linear training, and why you need both?
Comment LATERAL and we’ll send the full UltraSlide breakdown directly to your DMs.
