Team, a few weeks ago, we shared something that came out of a staff meeting on mobility: strength work is the stretch. Proper movement is stretching. So let’s talk about feeling tight. Stretching might feel good in the moment, but if the same spots are always tight, there might be more going on. Think of tightness as a signal from your body. Maybe you need to move more, recover better, pay attention to an imbalance, drink more water, or honestly, just go for a walk. Stretching isn’t bad, but don’t expect five minutes of stretching your hamstrings to fix something that might actually be coming from how you move, recover, sit, sleep, or train.

Anything But Gym Clothes Day means exactly what it sounds like. Leave the leggings and gym shorts at home and show up in literally anything else. Work clothes? Sure. Mascot head? Absolutely. Pajamas? Encouraged. Princess Leia? Why not. Surprise us! Everyone who participates will be entered into a raffle at the end of each class to win a FitWit shirt!
