Lucas oil school days complete!

An amazing experience overall, got my first days in a racecar while having some of the most fun times out on track. I learned a ton thanks to Chase Jones and the instructors!

The first few sessions were just getting in the car and getting up to speed but session 3 Tuesday and all 3 sessions Wednesday I was able to go on my own and be able to push the car. By the 2nd full session of Wednesday I was up to pace and really happy with my performance. Hopefully I can do some more racing outside of karts again and it was great being out there thanks to 🏎️ 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙨 𝙊𝙞𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙍𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜

STARS MCC completed!

The whole weekend I tried my best, but again things don’t always go your way. I was extremely quick in the rain, although I might not have had quite the same pace in the dry. I still did what I could throughout the races but in the final, in the exit of turn 4 I went 4 in the air and when I came down I guess I landed just wrong and bruised my ribs. I did what I could and tried to fight through it and ended with a p9 finish. Not optimal for me but not bad for the hand I was given. Felt like much more after the fact but when it all calmed down that’s what the verdict was. I’m very grateful to have been able to race this one and I’m confident at Night Fight I’ll be able to show what I can do again.

IAME USA Grand Nationals

Great weekend overall considering some of the struggles I went through but we kept our head high and brought the most out everything I could.

Felt a bit robbed in the sense of the ka senior shootout.
I was moving in both heats and made the most out of the hands was given each time but got eliminated quick in the race. Not to mention I kept going after I wrecked and set fast lap by myself.

Race overall:

Qualifying: p5
Heat 1: p3
Heat 2: p4
Superheat: p4
Final: p3

What a weekend at STARS Charlotte
I learned a lot and I hope others can learn from this weekend aswell.

I had a good start to the weekend with a p3 qualifying
Going into the next day I ended up p2 and p3 for my heats which put me p4 for the prefinal. Prefinal I tried to make up ground as early as possible but couldn’t get there ending p4. As I knew how to start in p4 from the prefinal I had an amazing start for the final got into p2 pushing my teammate but nothing always goes as planned. In the final lap I found myself in p4 so I knew I had to get creative to pull it off. I had a sweet move crossing 2 of them up but got taken out shortly after causing me to DNF. The driver apologized and is paying for damages which is rare nowadays but big ups to him for owning up to it and I hope everyone can learn from something like this to make the community better.
