It’s not every day the president of NASP gifts you your first bow!

📸:PES 5th grade archer Kat Aleman and National Archery in the Schools Program president Tommy Floyd at the 2026 NASP Championship in Daytona, Florida. Kat is a second year archer who uses a school bow to compete. Tommy Floyd made sure she left Florida with a bow to call her very own. 🏹❤️

What a great weekend in Florida for Pelion Elementary School and Pelion Middle School at the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Bullseye & 3-D Championship! They are bringing some new hardware back to South Carolina!

🏹 Pelion Elementary School
🥈 2nd Place – Bullseye (Elementary Division)
🥉 3rd Place – 3D (Elementary Division)

🏹 Pelion Middle School
4️⃣ 4th Place – Bullseye (Middle School Division), just one spot shy of the podium
🥈 2nd Place – 3D (Middle School Division)

Fourth grader Kaman Kneece took home 5th place in 3D as an individual in the elementary male division and 8th grader Delilah Williams took home 4th place in 3D as an individual in the middle school female division.

We couldn't be more proud of our archers—not only for how they performed on the range, but for the countless hours of practice they put in, character they display and the way they represent Pelion.

Congratulations to our hard working middle school team! Delilah placed 4th out of 1604 middle school female 3D archers and Pelion Middle School ranked 5th in 3D out of 207 middle school teams!
