Greetings from the Dayton Sportsman Club!
Some news and notes:
Our Hoss's fundraiser will be Saturday November 21 at the Indiana location. All members will receive a flyer with the banquet letter which must be presented at the restaurant for the club to receive credit. Anyone else needing a letter should contact Randy or come to the October or November meeting
Our Club banquet will be Sunday October 4 beginning at 4pm. It is a covered dish and the club supplies the meat, rolls and beverages. You may certainly invite family and friends. We will play bingo and trivia for huge prizes
And we will be honored to have, as an after-dinner speaker, retired Captain Tim Baker, a commercial jet pilot who was in the air during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Tim will tell his memories of that day from a perspective few of us had. It will be very interesting!
Indoor archery continues on Tuesday evenings at 7pm, and .22 shoots are just around the corner
Thanks to all who helped in any way with the September hoagie sale. We were a bit shorthanded for assembly but those who were there gave 110 percent. We should have our next one in late January
Be safe out there as the hunting seasons approach!

Attention Club Members!
Saturday is hoagie day. We have to assemble 350 and all hands are needed on deck! We start and 7am and there will be copious amounts of coffee and fresh donuts. The Friday night crew was short-handed but they busted it and we are ready for reinforcements Saturday morning. See you there!

Here's the latest from the Dayton Sportsman Club!
Our indoor archery group continues to meet each Tuesday evening at 7pm.
We will shoot trap prior to the September 10 meeting, at 6:30. Outshoot Club pro Don Good and win a free bowl of ice cream!
Our next hoagie sale is Saturday September 12. We will be selling 12" hoagies made fresh with all ingredients from local merchants for $8 each. Orders must be placed by September 5, and we need a rough estimate by September 1 Orders are to be given to Randy at 724-464-3922. We will be assembling on Friday September 11 at 7pm and Saturday morning beginning at 7am.
Our Fall family banquet is scheduled for Sunday October 4 at 6pm. Details to follow, hope to see you there!

Greetings!
News and notes from the May meeting:
The .22 shoots are done for the summer, but indoor archery continues on Tuesday evenings at 7
We will shoot trap prior to the June meeting. Starting at 6:30, open to anyone. Bring your sh***un and a couple boxes of shells. Beat club pro Don Good and will a free bowl of ice cream!
The fishing day was a success. Thanks to all who helped and those who participated. I'm sure there were a few trout left for the members.
Our next hoagie sale is Saturday June 20. $8 for a 12" hoagie made fresh with locally purchased ingredients. See any club member or call Randy Stear to order. All orders must be in by June 5.
The grass is growing fast. Feel free to take a turn mowing. See Randy or Don Good for instructions on the mower.

Just a reminder that we will be shooting trap prior to the May 14 meeting. We will start around 6:30. Open to anyone, you just pay a small fee to cover the price of the birds.
And a huge THANK YOU to all who helped in any way with the Kid's Fishing Day last Saturday. So many of you pitched in to make it a success. Pictures to come!

Here's what's going on:
We are shooting archery indoors on Tuesdays at 7pm
We shoot .22 pistols indoors on Wednesday evenings at 6:30
We will shoot trap prior to the May 14 meeting, at 6:30
Our Kid's Fishing Day is Saturday May 9 from 1-4pm. After that, the ponds will be open for the general membership. From today on, the is to be NO FISHING until May 9
Our next hoagie sale is scheduled for Saturday June 20.
