New ownership with Van Tactic Vo recently has started evolving Drake's with a nostalgic respect. 1st place Van competed was here and now he is here to give back in helping the community self defense of Dayton, growing true confidence in the community. Personal trainers and boxing coaches are also available to keep your workouts inspiring and varied. In addition to being a fitness facility, Drake's Downtown Gym is the home of Jab City Boxing - the best boxing classes in the Midwest.

We've got Ninja kids classes starts this week! MMA (Voki Tae Do) with Van and Boxing with Quincy/Van. Completely separate. Separate days. SAME TIME. Different instructors. Both skilled coaches. Van Tactic Vo is also an assistant coach for the all girls Kettering Fairmont FirebirdWrestling team and has been coaching and competing in martial arts for over 20 years.

Did ya know?! Drakes Downtown Gym will be hosting our fabulous Knockout exhibition boxing fundraiser in less than 3 weeks! Do you have your tickets yet? $20 will get you general admission before the show. $350 gets you AND 10 of your friends a seat at a table close to the ring! Stop by the gym during open hours(see the pinned post for the most recent schedule) and pick up your tickets! Day off the price jumps to $25 for general admission and there wont be any tables left for you to buy a seat at!
