Today DYSA is 🎉grateful🎉 for our vice president Jessica Gosney! Jessica has served on the Board of Directors for five years in various capacities, and as vice president she can often be found representing us at Norcal meetings and ensuring that we are in compliance with all the ins and outs of the softball world. Jessica has been integral in shaping and clarifying roles within the Board, as well as reviewing bylaws and many things behind the scenes. Not only has Jessica provided time and energy towards the Board, but she has coached in our Dynamite and All Stars program for the last six years. DYSA is 🥰thankful🥰for our 2026 All Stars Managers– ✨Jojo Valle, ✨Jake Jackson, ✨Gretchen McMeekin, and ✨Curtis Arthur! With their teams combined, these managers represented Davis throughout the Sacramento region over the last six weeks. Since the manager selection in April, they have been working hard to provide a memorable experience for all players. From the evaluation and selection of the team, through planning practices and managing strategy through the tournaments, these managers have led the way to a fantastic experience for these young athletes. 🌺Happy Father’s Day 🌺to all of our DYSA Dads and male caregivers! We appreciate all you do on and off the field to prepare our players to be their best selves– from bear hugs after successes, to bruised shins from pitching practice, to hauling gear everywhere. We see you supporting the athletes on and off the field as coaches, field preppers, board members, DJs and more! Thank you for all you do, every day!

Join us for field clean up at Community and Mace Ranch parks this week in preparation for the Stars and Strikes Tournament. There are multiple options to support and we look forward to seeing you there!

We will be weeding, removing trash, sweeping dugouts. Bring gardening gloves, rakes, hoes, and trowels (some will also be provided!).
