She does this by using scientifically proven methods that help them to release what's currently holding them back and leverage their perceived weaknesses into superpowers. By utilizing Theresa's unique approach to the Emotional Freedom Technique, her clients have overcome nervousness and difficult situations such as preparing for big presentations, overcoming their fear of flying, and transitioning through divorce. Theresa’s personal struggles with past traumas, high functioning anxiety, and ADHD kept her in an ego driven holding pattern of dissatisfaction and stress for longer than she likes to admit. All of those negative feelings seemed to melt away when she began cracking the code to her nervous system, taking responsibility for her own wellbeing, and elevating her consciousness in ways that truly restored her feelings of calm, clarity and confidence. Theresa is the host of the Becoming More Me Podcast and lives near Washington, DC with her husband, Jeff, and their 4 boys as well as their 2 yellow labs.

You've got a Google Doc called "offer ideas v4" and a Canva folder full of launch graphics nobody has seen yet... because you just need to get a little clearer first πŸ˜…

It's the most convincing delay a smart woman can reach for, since it sounds responsible and even feels productive while you're doing it. Meanwhile the idea still hasn't met a single real person.

What that delay is protecting is the moment your idea stops being a beautiful possibility and starts having a result attached. As long as it lives in the doc, it can't disappoint anyone, you included.

So this week, pay attention to the reason for waiting that sounds the most like wisdom... that's usually the one worth a second look.

Drop your go-to "I just need to ___ first" in the comments πŸ‘‡ Mine was always one more certification.

We can spend ten minutes tapping on one specific thing... a conversation you're dreading, a deadline sitting on your chest, the thing you keep not doing. Just that one subject.

And while we're there, your cortisol is dropping everywhere. Not only around the thing we named. Your stress hormones come down across your whole system, which is why people so often finish a round and say something like, huh, I didn't expect to feel this in my shoulders.

That's what makes EFT different from talking it through. You can understand your pattern perfectly and still carry it in your body, and tapping goes at the body first.

Hypnosis does something adjacent...

Instead of lowering the charge, it goes underneath and changes what your subconscious expects to be true. Most of my clients get both, sometimes in the same session, because insight on its own has never been the thing that makes people follow through.

So what's the thing you've been carrying that you'd want gone first?

Tell me in the comments.

09/22/2026

I didn't go looking for this. I was at a business retreat for my health and fitness company, and someone taught us EFT tapping.

I remember thinking, hold on. I can lower my own cortisol in a few minutes? I can change how I'm perceiving this? The rumination that had been keeping me up at night, running the same conversation on repeat, spiraling over things that had already happened and things that might never happen... I could actually do something about that, right there, without waiting for the feeling to pass on its own.

That was the unlock for me. Not another strategy on top of the pile, but something that worked at the level where the problem actually lived.

I'd spent years being a very capable person with a nervous system that never got the memo that we were safe. Tapping was the first thing that spoke that language ❀️

If you've never tried it, come do a round with me. Comment TAPPING and I'll send you a free session to try tonight, especially if your brain gets loud the second your head hits the pillow ✨

If you'd rather push toward a call:

Swap the last paragraph for: "If you're curious what this could do for whatever you've been carrying, let's talk it through together.

Plot twist... drive was never the missing piece πŸ˜…

You've got the skill, the ideas, and enough ambition to power a small city. What's missing is a reliable bridge between deciding and doing, and the reason yours hasn't been built yet is specific to you, which is why one more productivity hack keeps falling flat.

Most people set a goal by asking what do I want, and then wonder why wanting it clearly hasn't been enough.

It's the wrong question. Or rather, it's the first of several, and most of us stop after it.

The ones that actually move things:

What do I need to become to be able to hold that?
What version of me is still making my decisions, and does she need updating?
What old identity am I still loyal to that's quietly keeping me here?
And what does my body think this next level is going to cost me?

That last one is usually where the real answer lives, and it's almost never the one we'd give out loud.

Something worth saying about the version of you who set up these patterns in the first place... she wasn't wrong. She wasn't failing. She was doing the best she could with the tools, the identity, and the capacity she had at the time, and she deserves some credit for getting you here. She just doesn't have current information, and she's still making calls based on what was true years ago.

So I'll ask you the way I'd ask a client... what does your body think the next level is going to cost you? Sit with it a second before you answer, the first thing that comes up is usually the honest one. Tell me in the comments, I read them all πŸ’•

Follow along if you want more of this... the questions underneath the goal, and the subconscious work that makes the answers actually change something

Busted. πŸ˜…

Here is what makes that funny and also expensive... you did not lose focus because you are undisciplined. You lost it because a 30 second exit costs an ADHD brain far more to come back from than it ever costs to leave.

One notification, one open tab, one thought that suddenly feels VERY important, and the momentum you spent all morning building is gone. Then the whole day ends with the important thing still untouched, and you decide the problem is you.

It is not. It is the re-entry, and that is something we can actually work on.

A lot of women have booked this month to sort out exactly this pattern. A few spots are still open at gamechangingconversation.com if you want yours.

"I need to figure this out on my own first."
"I'll do it once I feel more confident."
"It's too much money right now."
"Maybe this just isn't the right time."

Every one of those sounds like a reasonable adult making a sound decision. Sometimes it is. But if you've been running the same reasonable decision for two years on the same project, something else is happening, and it isn't a scheduling issue.

Overthinking isn't a personality trait and it isn't a productivity problem you can solve with a better system. It's what it looks like from the inside when part of you has quietly decided the next step isn't safe. Your conscious mind keeps producing rational-sounding reasons because that's what conscious minds do, while the actual brakes are being held somewhere you can't see, based on old evidence about what happened last time you were visible, or wrong, or too much.

That's the layer I work on. Not time blocking, not accountability, not another framework for your framework. We look at what you consciously want, find what your system believes it will cost you, and update the programming so that following through stops requiring a fight with yourself.

Your subconscious isn't trying to ruin your life. It's running old code, and code can be rewritten πŸ’•

If you're tired of being the smartest person in the room who can't get out of their own way, let's talk. Comment ALIGNED and I'll send you the first step. You've already waited longer than you meant to

09/20/2026

There was a stretch of my life where I could have written the plan for someone else and had them out the door in a week.

For myself, I couldn't move at all.

I knew what the next step was. I knew it would bring in more money, more visibility, more freedom, all the things I said I wanted. I'd think about doing it and something in my body would just close. Not a thought, not a reason I could argue with, an actual physical no that showed up before I'd finished imagining it.

For years I read that as a character problem. I thought I was undisciplined, or afraid of success, or somehow just built wrong, and I stacked more strategy on top of it hoping the right system would finally make me move. It never did, because the part of me holding the brakes wasn't listening to strategy. It had linked that next step to rejection, to criticism, to loss I'd already lived through once, and it was doing its job protecting me from a repeat.

What changed wasn't willpower. It was learning how to work with that part of me instead of against it, showing my system that I'm not who I was when those things happened, and that I have more now than I did then. The resistance didn't need to be overpowered. It needed to be updated.

That's the work I do now, and it's the reason I do it. My conscious mind said go for a very long time while my nervous system said not yet, and I know exactly how lonely that gap is to stand in while everyone tells you to just be more disciplined.

If you're standing in it right now, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Let's talk

09/20/2026

I collected information for years. Books, courses, certifications, podcasts, anything I could get my hands on, and I got very good at understanding my own patterns. I could explain exactly why I did what I did.

I just kept doing it anyway.

At some point I had to admit that information was never the problem. Integration was. I knew better and I still couldn't do better, because knowing something and feeling safe enough to act on it are two completely different things, and my nervous system was not on board with the next step no matter how well I'd intellectualized it.

That's the piece I'd missed for so long. You can't think your way out of a pattern that lives in the body, and if you've been trying, that's not a sign you haven't learned enough. It's a sign you've been working the wrong layer.

What finally moved things for me wasn't another course. It was a few minutes a day, done consistently, working the layer underneath the thinking.

We tend to end up helping the people who are us, and this one is very much mine πŸ’•

Comment FINISH and I'll send you the practice

Beautiful, isn't it. It never stops moving, and it never arrives anywhere new.

You know the feeling. Same goal circling back every quarter, same conversation with yourself, real effort spent on a path that's been running so long it feels like your personality.

It isn't. It's a pattern, and patterns respond to the right kind of attention.
