A great time was had by all at the Sacramento International Welcome/NorCal Finals Show!
Sarah and her Gentleman Jack worked hard all year to earn her place in the NorCal 3’ medal final and while a bit of bad luck kept her out of the top group, she still finished with an 89 and the high score of the class. She was also champion in her Eq division and was winner of the qualified section of the NorCal class earlier in the week. We are so proud of your hard work and dedication, Sarah!
Emily made her show debut as a new Mom with her young mare, Diamo’s Diamond. They made great progress throughout the week working on all the essentials that will make Fiona a fantastic hunter! Emily also made her National derby comeback on her Mom’s gelding, Wondrous. True to his name, this pair had a wondrous outing, finishing just outside the ribbons in a very big and competitive field. Welcome back, Em!
Samm and her Wondrous had a great show after some time off helping with the new human addition to the family. They made great strides all week having fantastic rounds in both the Eq and Adult hunters finishing with an 84 score in the classic round! Congrats, Samm - you definitely found your happy pace!
Tally Hawk’s newest addition, Sunset Blvd, was along for the ride and had fun learning the ins and outs of show life. He enjoyed practicing in the ring, going on trail rides, and supporting his barn mates with congratulatory whinnies!
Next up for the team is another trip to MEC for the Murieta Autumn Classic. But first, it’s back to work for a couple of weeks!
