The Lebanon-American Club of Danbury is a community organization that was started in the early 1920’s, and has been a positive and unifying presence in the region ever since, through ongoing involvement with civic and cultural activities in Danbury.

We had a great and wonderful day at the Annual LAC Golf outing at Richer's Park on Wednesday. We are grateful for all our sponsors, contributors, participants, Committee members and all volunteers without whom this event was not possible. Please enjoy some of the memories captured throughout the day and at dinner. Special thanks to the Richter's and Cafe on the Green staff.

Last Monday, on a short notice after receiving the invite from Lebanon Consul General Talal Daher, past LAC president Ghassan Najm, and member Elie Khoury represented the club at the reception held in honor of Lebanon Minister of info Dr Paul Morcos, at the Lebanon Consulate in NY. They were joined by Sub-Deacon Michel Rabah of St. Joseph church in Somers NY, and administrator of the Maronite Mission in NYC. Other CT community members in attendance were George Taweh and Matt Nasser. The minister was in DC preparing for the visit by Pres. Aoun to the US, and made a quick visit to NYC. He was joined by Lebanon Ambassador to the United Nation, Ahmad Arafa.
