What Daniel DIDN’T do to drop 7lbs in 4 weeks:

He didn’t:
❌Go to the gym 6days out of the week

❌Run excessive miles

❌Wear a sauna suit

❌Fast for 16 hours

❌Workout for three hours

❌Lift lightweight with high reps

Instead, he did this:

đŸ’ȘAdjusted his nutrition to his lifestyle

đŸ’ȘHas a game plan

đŸ’ȘWorks out 3 to 4 times a week

đŸ’ȘCombines weight training and cardio

đŸ’ȘSpends no more than an hour in the gym

đŸ’ȘFocuses on allowing his body to recover

đŸ’ȘAnd gets plenty of sleep when he’s not at the fire station

Real progress doesn’t require living in the gym or starving yourself. It requires a system that fits your actual life (even with a demanding schedule at the fire station).

When did it become acceptable to accept the unacceptable behavior from our own kids?

as fathers, we shouldn’t be accepting bad behavior from our kids. Our kids are representation of us.

They go out there, acting like fools, they show the world what type of father we are.

And there’s no hiding from that.

It starts at home, gentlemen!

When Gloria first came to me, she was struggling with:

1ïžâƒŁ Poor eating habits

2ïžâƒŁ Inconsistent workouts

3ïžâƒŁ Low protein intake

This was leading to unwanted belly fat, constant fatigue, and low confidence, which was really affecting her mental health.
We got to work by:

✅ Building a sustainable eating schedule with better food choices

✅ Tracking and gradually increasing her daily protein intake

✅ Designing a workout plan that fit her busy life, without taking time away from her kids

One year later âžĄïž

Gloria said it best: ‘I can definitely see the difference.’ 😭

No more feeling uncomfortable in her clothes.

No more running on empty.

Just a woman who finally feels like herself again strong, confident, and proud of what she built.

This is why we do the work. 💚

🚹 DON’T GET FOOLED BY “PROTEIN” ON THE FRONT OF THE PACKAGE

Big food companies know that people are looking for more protein.

So they put PROTEIN in big letters on the front and sometimes charge you more for it.

But here’s a simple way to check what you’re actually getting.

👉 Turn the package around.

👉 Find the grams of protein per serving.

👉 Take the grams of protein and divide by 50, then multiply by 100.

For example:
10g protein Ă· 50 = 0.20

0.20 × 100 = 20%

That gives you a quick reference for how much that serving represents compared with the 50g protein Daily Value used on Nutrition Facts labels.

Now look at the price.

Because just because a product says “PROTEIN” on the front doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting a lot of protein or that the higher price is worth it.

Don’t let the marketing make the decision for you.

Turn the package around.

Read the label.

Do the math.

Then decide.

Not every “elevate yourself” moment looks like a spreadsheet or a workout log.

Sometimes it’s standing in a comic bookstore, X-Men issue in hand, feeling like a kid again.

I’m a geek.

Always have been.

I love lifting just as much as I love a good superhero story and honestly, both taught me the same lesson: you don’t get strong (or wise, or confident) overnight. You show up, issue after issue, rep after rep.

This is a little more “behind the scenes” than I usually post but it’s who I am outside of coaching.

A guy who loves comics, loves training, and loves helping other men in their 30s+ build the version of themselves they’re proud of.

Most men over 35 lose muscle instead of fat when dieting.

Up to 25 percent of the weight you lose could be muscle you worked hard for, which is why you still look soft in the mirror.

Want to fix your dad bod, build muscle, and get your confidence back as a man?

Try this simple trick:

Skip the food scale. Eat two palm servings of protein at every meal.

Why this works:

Your hand matches your body size.

No tracking or math needed.

Keeps your energy up while burning fat.

Tip: You can start tracking food later when you want to get super lean.

But do this now to protect your muscle.

Save this post.

Share this with a friend trying to lose the dad bod.

Anyone else see this or was it just me?

You don’t know how important it is for a kid to see their dad in the bleachers

When I was a kid, my dad was at every football game, and even showed up to my semipro All-Star football game.

This is memories that I will hold and cherish for the rest of my life

Your kid isn’t looking in the bleachers to see who’s all there but to see if you’re there

If you were able to make it to your kids games, you need to be there!

No excuses!!
