I was PACKING after 3 hours with ZERO bites. Frozen, done.
Then my $400 rod just FOLDED in half. Drag screaming!

Net? It was a TEACUP for this 62cm / 3.9kg MONSTER largemouth bass.
My hands were shaking...

This dock Karen saw my 5lb largemouth and told me I HAD to keep it. I release all big girls.

Proper catch and release = support the belly, quick release, watch her swim strong.

What would you do? Keep for dinner or release for future? My inbox is already fighting 😂

They spent 4 YEARS making a $30 frog that kicks like a real frog.

I took it apart.

The idea is genius - fishing line goes THROUGH the body directly into the legs. You pull, legs kick.

BUT...

1. It only kicks when you PULL. On pause (when bass actually strikes) it's dead.
2. Two treble hooks on the belly. Try to throw it in heavy cover... you'll bring back the whole lake.

My verdict: Would I pay $30? No.
Would I steal the idea for a DIY version with a hollow body? 100% YES.

Line through body -> powers the legs. Looks insane on top...
BUT it dies on pause. And bass hits ON PAUSE.

2 belly trebles = will collect every lily pad in Florida 😂

Beginner fishing hack: Garlic dough that stays on hook 3 HOURS!

I boiled garlic head, crushed it for 10x stronger smell, added flour - carp can't spit it because of garlic oil.

Have you tried garlic vs corn? Which wins in your lake?

Full recipe: 1 garlic, 2 tbsp flour, water. Boil 5 min.
