Why Most Approaches to Fitness Fail Us
The average gym goer burns out or gets bored within weeks. People who train hard in their twenties often stop training in their forties and fifties.
We do not think that is a discipline problem. We think it is a philosophy problem. The framing of fitness as something you only do for vanity, or as something that only serves a specific sport, was built for a season.
Lives last decades, and those seasons end.
Specialization is the common failure.
The bodybuilder or physique focused person that isn't actually capable.
The person who lifts enormous weight but loses their breath on a walk.
The runner who feels extremely weak and brittle.
Real fitness does not specialize and it isn't developed for a season. Real fitness is well-rounded across strength, conditioning, and mobility. Real fitness is not seasonal or designed for an event.

A low bar squat, like powerlifters use, emphasizes Glutes for the work. A high bar squat or front squat, like weightlifting uses, emphasizes more Quads.
Knowledge of what angles use which muscles can help you overall with your squats and muscle group development.
You don't have to be a powerlifter or weightlifter to gain from any of this. Our coaches help regular people squat better. Above and beyond!
