👊🏼Technique Tuesday👊🏼
I break down three essential defensive options against a jab in combat sports: checking to block the punch, ducking while keeping your guard tight, and slipping to the side. I then demonstrate how to add effective counters to each defense—using a teep kick after checking, throwing body shots after ducking, and landing uppercuts and hooks after slipping. These techniques help you stay safe while maintaining offensive opportunities.
