Got a cool delivery today thanks to Rōnin (浪人), an Unit Solutions Unit 9 to go along with the Unit rifles on hand. CQB classes just got more real… coming soon, watch for the posting in the next day or two.

Classes for August and into September being planned now. August 8 is a 4 hour High basic to intermediate level handgun skill development class. As long as you can SAFELY handle, load, fire, and unload your own weapon, unassisted, you’re good to go. More detailed info at link in bio or scan the QR

It was so cool to have Rex out today for some AR training. Rex has a professional archery background so there were parts of archery skill that translated well and others that were totally opposite. Great job working through and adapting where it was important. In the end, he’s on a path of training properly and efficiently to improve. The second pic is a target array that will open some eyes related to optic to bore offset or holdovers. I will say… I think the speed at which he could run the gun ACCURATELY, was a little surprising for him. Great job today. TRAIN to SURVIVE.

In March 2001 I bought an EOTECH 552 and used it daily until 2019, then still used once a week or so. Recently, I started having some issues with it and submitted a repair request to EOTECH. In the end they offered a trade up to this set up. Can’t wait to get it mounted up and test the 3x. Big thanks to EOTECH for the trade up.👍👍. THIS is why you buy quality products from companies. Buy once, cry 😭 once.

Big props to . I sent in my OLD club timer that had stopped working. Fast turn around and complete explanation of the repairs and some DIY info given too. Great timer and great company service.

Today we did our first LE Fi****ms Instructor workshop. Here’s about half the class, a few had to leave in the last hour or so. The information exchange with instructors from different areas, backgrounds, tenure etc. was so good to see. I personally learned from the class. My hope is all took information home to build up their respective departments programs. More pics and videos from the class in the next few days. Thanks to the work put in by the instructors and to the respective agencies for sending your instructors for training. oak police

Well- at least she’s got a “Fi****ms Instructor” there… ( you can tell from his vest 🤦‍♂️). Just because your department says you’re the “instructor” means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, especially if this is acceptable performance. Come learn how not to SUCK as an LE Fi****ms INSTRUCTOR.
