🗣️ This picture is more than a workout selfie… it’s proof that I refuse to give up on myself.
For years I’ve struggled with my weight. Stress, failed relationships, and walking through difficult seasons with my son being sick took a toll on me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. At my highest weight I reached 315 lbs.
I let life’s challenges knock me off my path.
No excuses — just the reality that the human flesh is real.
But one thing about me… I’m resilient. Thank God for that.
So here I am again — choosing me.
Remembering whose I am: God’s daughter.
My goal: Lose 40 lbs by my birthday on May 2.
Even if I lose 30–35, that’s still a WIN.
This time when stress hits, I’m choosing the gym instead of the kitchen, prayer instead of pain, and healing over hiding.
This journey isn’t just about weight.
It’s about protecting my health, healing my mind, restoring my spirit, and remembering my WHY.
So here we go again…
Not perfect.
Not overnight.
But consistent.
