What do we love to do after our 9 to 5 jobs?

Play hockey of course! 🏒

Our ladies showed up with the joy and cowgirl spirit of Dolly Parton for our honorary skate on 9/25. All of our drop ins are always fun and high spirited but this one takes the Duncan Hines Dolly Parton cake 🎂 (huge shoutout to H-E-B for the sweet cake mix and icing donation - no store does more!!!)

We had a greatest hits playlist, wigs, pink pucks, cowgirl hats, and even some horses on the ice! 🐴 After the skate, we continued our party at Cowboy Surfer 🏄‍♀️

Check out the photos and videos that captured the feeling of sisterhood and love that Dolly advocated for 💗

Because the start of our Women's Fall league was postponed by a few weeks, WHOAH picked up some extra ice for a drop-in skate. And it is on September 25th (9-2-5), so we absolutely had to turn this skate into Dolly Parton Tribute!

So join us on 9/25 for Dolly Parton Tribute Women-Only Drop-In Skate!
When: September, 25 at 8:45 pm.
Where: Ice Skate Memorial City

No scores, no refs—just good time, fun, hockey and music (Dolly's songs!)
Let’s channel our inner Dolly and hit the ice in style! Get a prize if you come in a costume or a wig!

We welcome all skill levels, from total beginners trying hockey for the first time to experienced players!

Check out one of the many highlights from the very first official season of our WHOAH league! We chatted with Sarah and Sydney about their time playing against each other as a former coach and student duo!

Stick around for our Fall Season starting soon at Deep South Ice and Sports Complex and catch Sarah play against her other former student Keely and Keely's mom Ashley!! Talk about mother and daughter bonding time 🥰

Having these dynamics is what makes playing in the WHOAH league so much fun!

Let's go WHOAH! 💛💚
