That’s what we’ve been working on in our August Shooting Classes. Footwork. Balance. Shot prep. Hand placement. Getting to the same shot every time.

We use film so our trainees can actually see what we see, make the correction, and get the reps in. Season is getting closer. Now is the time to clean it up.

AAU season is over.

We’re always thinking about how we can teach the game better and help our trainees develop faster. If something doesn’t exist, we’ll build it ourselves.

If you’re 6’5” and taller, they call it 3&D defend, knock down shots, know your role. If you’re 6’3” and smaller, they call it being a DAWG.

That means picking up 94 feet, guarding your yard, fighting through screens, making life miserable for the ball handler, and bringing relentless energy every possession. Everybody trains the offense… but not everybody trains the work of being a stopper.

It’s two types of dogs… DOG and DAWG.

DOG stay in the house, comfortable, protected, waiting to be fed.
DAWG been outside. Been through storms, fights and pressure situations.

Everybody wanna bark when it’s easy… but when adversity hit, we find out who really got that DAWG in them.
