exciting news! Alonso Villa is officially coming to dallas on july 18th for a special drum solo workshop. 🎶🥁
here's what we'll cover:
**10:00-11:00 am – drum solo choreography with live percussion**
this first hour will be more movement-focused as we learn a short drum solo combination based on several classic rhythms.
limited to 15 dancers and pre payment required to reserve your spot.
**11:00 am-12:00 pm – rhythms, history & musicality**
this second hour will be more lecture-style, covering the history, cultural context, and feel of several common rhythms. alonso will demonstrate each rhythm live while i show examples of movements that work well with them.
cost for nnbd monthly members: $35
cost for non members: $60
