Shad imitators got it done at Double A Lake in Wills Point, TX🐟
Fluke, crankbait, and big swimbait were the key players. As water temperatures slowly start to decrease, expect an increase in baitfish activity along the banks and in the creeks!

“Lost count somewhere along the way” but over 65 fish on an overcast day at Acker Lake in Coalgate, Oklahoma!⛈️🌪️
On a low pressure day like this one, bass often become more active and willing to chase a meal, which can lead to an aggressive bite. Cloud cover, wind, and changing conditions can all give them more confidence to roam and feed. When that barometer starts falling, it’s time to get out there and take advantage of the bite!

Today we lost a true American treasure.
Dolly Parton was more than a country music legend. She was a songwriter, storyteller, philanthropist and one of those rare people who seemed to belong to all of us.
She never forgot where she came from, never took herself too seriously, and spent a lifetime bringing a little more joy, kindness and music into the world.
There will never be another Dolly.
Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for the songs, the stories and the light. 🤍
